 Apologia Announces ApologiaAcademy starting fall of 2009

Apologia is pleased to announce plans for an online academy starting in the fall of 2009. Apologia's mission is to provide products, resources, and services that help homeschool students and families learn, live, and defend the Christian faith. Still in the works, ApologiaAcademy will offer college-preparatory science, Bible, apologetics, and Christian worldview courses through a dynamic, virtual classroom experience. We are committed to helping families disciple and educate their children at home. The ApologiaAcademy is a result of acting on this commitment and combining the quality Apologia science curriculum, experienced Apologia teachers, and the latest technology.

ApologiaAcademy's unique virtual classrooms effectively unite the benefits of teacher-led, real-time instruction with the advantages of highly convenient and multimedia-rich Internet delivery. ApologiaAcademy gives you the choice of live classes delivered to your computer, or recorded sessions, which can be listened to at your convenience. All this is accomplished at home in the context of family.

Larry Blythe, M.A.A. was hired to direct this important kingdom-building work. ApologiaAcademy courses will be taught by seasoned, godly, Christian instructors who are experts in their fields. Respected Apologia science teachers will include Rusty Hughes and Steve Rosenoff.

In the live classes, students may ask questions in real-time while interacting with the teacher and other students. Combined with the best creation-based science and Christian worldview curriculum in the industry, ApologiaAcademy's online virtual class environment will provide your student with an unparalleled overall learning experience.
